Julia is our fearless leader and the founder of HüGa home located in St. George, Utah. Her career spans 15 years throughout Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, and Grand Caymans.  She received a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Southern Utah University and launched her calling with a featured home in the 2005 Cedar City, Utah Parade of Homes.

Since then, Julia has been a part of and produced 10 Parade of Homes. Builders, architects, and luxury clients seek Julia for her distinguished design, professionalism, and a stellar reputation.

Julia’s vision for HüGa Home begins with the name, which is derived from the Danish word Hygge meaning comfort, warmth, and coziness. She says: “what this means to me is comfortable design, places where people can gather and make memories, build friendships, and a sanctuary to retreat to in times of self-reflection.”

She respects the personal facet of designing homes by developing close connections with her clients. Her attention to detail, visualization, and finely honed intentional listening skills all add up: Julia is a dream-come-true provider of all-you-can imagine master designer.

As a business owner and entrepreneur, extra time is precious and sacred –  so you will always find her with her three beautiful kids when she’s not in the studio. They hike, explore, and work on home projects. Family time is her first passion – Interior Design is a close second.

Our company exists because of Julia’s vision and enthusiasm to deliver extraordinary design – something we do not take casually – and wholeheartedly invite you to find out for yourself
